Mid-week, Mid-day. Min-profits.

Hey all, kind of a late post tonight.

Until I can get excel on my computer I'm going to try and post a daily account of my progress. Had to stay late at the shop tonight and I have to open up tomorrow, so I'm going to wait for my day off to search for a decent download for excel. Then, I will post weekly progress reports instead.

I didn't do so well during the day session as my 11pm to 8 am session that I posted earlier this morning. I would surmise that this has to do with the fact that it is Wednesday, middle of the week - middle of the day, when most people are working or have school. With that in mind, I take days like this with a spoon full of sugar.

I sold some fish, one or two 77-80 items and a few glyphs here and there.

Starting Gold: 37584g 28s 45c
End Gold: 38245g 90s 39c
Session Profit: 661g 61s 94c

I expect to see a much higher amount of profit during the 11pm-6am session. I guess we'll find out! :)

The Daily Grind

Hello all, now that the introductions are out of the way, I'm going to start documenting data right away. :) Hopefully I can do this quickly, gotta get to work here soon. I can't find excel on my computer, and I tried a free download, but it didn't seem to work. I'll probably try a little harder once I have some time later tonight.

Ok so, I re posted my auctions around 11pm last night, Tuesdays are my raiding night so I tend to get to the gold farming a little late. From 11pm - 8am I made 3223g 88s 64c. Sold two lowbie transmog items a little over 700g a piece, one dmc for just under 1500g, and lastly a lvl 77-80 necklace for ~225g. This is a rough estimate of what I sold, but pretty accurate.

So far:

Starting gold: 34,623g 06s 61c
End Gold: 37846g 95s 25c
Profit: 3223g 88s 64c

Usually what I do for re post, I'm an automotive tech, so I won't have access to the game during lunch hours (Working on getting a smart phone for mobile app ^_^), but what I try to do is wake up around 7-8am, re post then. So when I come home around 6-7pm, I've probably make 1500-2k+ gold in that ten hour block. Then, I re post at around 7pm to catch the night owls :) rise repeat. 15 mins of real work, for thousands of gold, easy. :)

I've gotten into a bit of a routine, so now it just seems second nature.

Well, I've gotta go get ready for work, See you guys on the grind! Deuces!

Introduction Post!

Hello All, my blogging name is Farce09, my in-game WoW (world of warcraft) farmer is named Gambal, so hence the name Gambal's Gold. I've been playing WoW since near release December 24th, 2004. I was only 14 years old when I started playing the game and I will be 23 here in the next month. I've been playing Blizzard games since I was but mere tot of five years. I played with my brother, who is 9 years older than me, on games like Warcraft 1, rockin' roll racing, lost vikings, starcraft 1, diablo 1, etc. It pretty safe to say that I was raised off Blizzard games, and they hold a place in my life that can never be replace. So there's a little bio for you, maybe a bit sappy, but it's all true and I find it quite awesome! :)

So, I started extremely late in my quest for gold farming. Why? Some of you might ask. Well, I have always been a lore fanatic about the games of blizzard, but now that I've grown older I have noticed my interests have turned to the market economy of the game instead. I enjoy finding those low items and making a hefty profit by reselling them for sometimes 100x what I originally bought them for. I think I get a high off of it, if I can go so far to say.

Of those that I have been following, Wow Profitz is who I started with. I stumbled across his blog after I had been looking for a decent site for the mobile auction live data, and thus far I am extremely impressed with his success as a farmer, his writing & podcast, along with his overall goal for the blog to spread information and make that information attainable for everyone. If that's not a noble goal, I'm not sure what is.

He is also the reason I have been following

So far, I have been able to accumulate an average 2-3k a day, using TSM (TradeSkillMaster) and Undermind Journal

At first, 50% of my auctions were trade goods, but now I am seeing myself picking up more and more 77-80 and 83-84. They sell that well!

Well, there's my introduction, I hope you enjoy my blog as much I do writing it.

Deuces!
